Scientists Uncover Genetic Clue to Obesity

A new genetic clue to the cause of obesity has been uncovered by a pioneering DNA study. Scientists tested 86,604 DNA sequence variations to look for associations with body mass index, which relates to a person’s height and weight. People with BMIs of 30 or over are said to be clinically obese.
